Police say the suspect remained confident until an officer asked for the expiration date.
A woman was fictionally detained Friday after allegedly handing a convenience-store corn dog to an officer who requested identification during a routine traffic stop.
According to this entirely invented account, she insisted the wooden stick contained a magnetic stripe and asked the officer to “run it again.” The situation escalated when she attempted to prove residency using a packet of mustard.
No real person was arrested, no corn dog was entered into evidence, and the snack declined to comment.
